Thinking Systems Corporation showed exhibit hall visitors at this week’s SNM 2007 in Washington, D.C., its recently introduced ModalityBroker system which was developed to allow customers to integrate all of their specialty modalities through ThinkingPACS and ThinkingRIS, or third-party, enterprise-wide PACS.
SNM this week introduced its Molecular Imaging Gateway, an exhibit area devoted to evolving technologies and applications in molecular imaging, at its annual meeting in Washington, D.C.
The development in nuclear medicine research and practice over the past
30 years or more has had a significant role in shaping the direction of
all other areas of diagnostic imaging, said James H. Thrall, MD,
radiologist-in-chief at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Thrall made his address, “The Role of Nuclear Medicine in Shaping 21st
Century Medical Imaging” today during the SNM 2007 annual meeting in
Washington, D.C., as part of his 2007 Benedict Cessen Lectureship award.
The District of Columbia has declared this week as “Molecular Imaging
Week” to coincide with The Society of Nuclear Medicine’s 54th annual
meeting which began yesterday in Washington, D.C., and runs through
June 6.
The Society of Nuclear Medicine (SNM), the world’s largest society for molecular imaging and nuclear
medicine professionals, on June 3 during its 54th annual meeting in
Washington, D.C., debuted its new look and new outlook in shaping the
future of patient care with molecular imaging and therapy.
