InSightec reported Monday that the first U.S. patient was treated with
its non-invasive, radiation-free ExAblate MR-guided Focused Ultrasound
system as a pain relieving treatment for patients with bone
metastases, who have failed an initial round of palliative radiation.
iCAD, a provider of computer-aided detection (CAD) solutions, has
completed its previously announced agreement to purchase the principal
assets of CAD Sciences, a medical technology company based in White
Plains, N.Y.
The Nasdaq Stock Market has approved MedQuist’s application for listing
on its Global Market. The company has been trading on the pink sheets
since 2004.
