eHealth Global Technologies has released its next-generation
eHealthViewer for clinical image analysis and review on Windows
desktop, Windows mobile device or a smartphone.
NeoTool, a Plano, Texas-based healthcare IT applications developer, has
introduced CareGateway, a web services-based solution that provides for
the exchange of patient data with remote point-of-care locations.
Apple plans to launch its iPhone 3G July 11, with add-on applications
offering medical imaging capabilities. The company said medical imaging
is data intensive and requires considerable user interaction, which it
believes the iPhone’s multi-touch interface supports.

Xelis-Colon, the first in a new line of dedicated 3D visualization
solutions using volume rendering and other post-processing techniques
