E-Z-EM has completed the merger of Eagle Acquisition Sub, a wholly
owned subsidiary of Bracco Diagnostics, with E-Z-EM, and the
other transactions contemplated by the agreement and plan of merger,
among Bracco, Eagle Acquisition, E-Z-EM and, for the limited purposes
specified therein, Bracco Imaging.
McKesson Provider Technologies has acquired Rosebud Solutions, a
provider of software solutions to track and manage instruments,
endoscopes and tissue implants for surgical services, as well as
medical crash carts and mobile equipment.
Ophthalmic Imaging Systems, a digital imaging company, has signed
a definitive merger agreement with MediVision Medical Imaging, the
majority shareholder of OIS, under which the Yokneam Elit, Israel-based
company will become a subsidiary of OIS in a stock transaction.
QuantRx’s molecular imaging company, FluoroPharma, which develops
cardiovascular molecular imaging agents for the PET market, has entered
into a license agreement with Massachusetts General Hospital for
the development and commercialization of agents for diagnosis and
treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
Bio-Imaging Technologies, a provider of medical image management for
clinical trials, has acquired Phoenix Data Systems, a clinical data
services provider of electronic data capture services and
eClinical data solutions to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology
industries, in a cash and stock transaction valued at $24 million.
