Agfa integrates Impax with OrthoView from Meridian

Agfa HealthCare and Meridian Technique have signed an agreement to integrate Meridian’s orthopedic digital planning solution, OrthoView, into Agfa’s Impax for Orthopedics application.

The Southampton, England-based Meridian said its OrthoView consists of five specialist modules: joint replacement, fracture management, limb deformity correction, pediatrics and spine. With OrthoView and Agfa’s embedded measurement tools, Impax will provide a set of functions for orthopedic departments, the companies said.

Agfa and Meridian said that OrthoView allows orthopedic surgeons to pre-operatively plan and template surgical procedures on-screen.
