Eczacıbaşı Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing successfully concluded its acquisition of a 50 percent share in Monrol Nuclear Products Industry and Trade.

The new joint venture, Eczacıbaşı-Monrol Nuclear Products based in Kocaeli, Turkey, combines Monrol’s experience in nuclear medicine with the experience and human resources of the Eczacıbaşı Group.

Eczacıbaşı-Monrol Nuclear Products said it began importing radiopharmaceuticals in 1995 and manufacturing products for nuclear medicine in 1997.

The companies did not disclose the financials terms of the agreement.
