Health Imaging News | August 8, 2008 | Contracts & Installations
Digital radiography developer iCRco reported that its Vertex CR product has been chosen for deployment by the U.S. Army's medical services.

The Vertex CR from iCRco will enable the U.S. Army to acquire digital images in battlefield situations and stationary medical offices, according to the company.

The Torrance, Calif.-based iCRco said its True Flat Scan Path technology will provide the Army with more than 300,000 images per plate, eliminating image artifacts and ensuring imaging plates.

iCRco said it has commenced production of the military units for immediate delivery.
