Medical imaging industry mourns passing of Andreas

A longtime medical imaging professional, Ralph L. Andreas, died Aug. 17, in Granbury, Texas. He was 70 years old.

Born in Minneapolis, Minn., on Feb. 28, 1935, Andreas served in the U.S. Army. He served as chairman of the board of Lake Granbury Medical Center and on various committees at the Pecan Plantation community in Granbury.

Andreas started his career in digital imaging at Nuclear Chicago, and worked also for ADAC, Toshiba and Agfa HealthCare. He was still active as independent consultant when he passed.

He is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
