Philips Medical Systems is conducting a series of educational
symposiums called 'Advances in Cardiac CT' to benefit cardiologists in
a number of major cities across the U.S. The sessions, which began on
April 19, focus on clinical benefits of diagnostic cardiovascular
computed tomography (CV CT).
The symposia feature presentations from clinicians hailing from
Wisconsin Heart, Washington Hospital Center, Healthcare Clinic of
Arkansas, and Lake Cardiology all aimed at helping doctors to more
rapidly diagnose individuals with chest pain or other symptoms of
cardiovascular disease, according to Philips.
Future sessions will be held in the following cities:
- May 3, 2005 Dallas, Texas
- May 5, 2005 Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
