Radiology IT Strategies: Differentiating Care
Lodox showcased its Statscan Critical Imaging System, a flexible format DR system designed for high-throughput trauma, emergency, pediatric, orthopedic, forensic, and general radiography, at RSNA 2006. The system also offers a bariatric radiography option. Statscan takes x-rays of any size, up to a full body in 13 seconds, and because of its enhanced linear slot scan technology, the system eliminates scatter and reduces dose.

The spatial resolution is selectable over the range 1.4 to 5.0 line pairs per mm. Statscan offers high-contrast resolution of up to 16,000 gray levels, and ultra low-dose, low resolution full body screening as well as high resolution detail studies.

Lodox also displayed its work-in-progress, the VersaScan MD, a multi-purpose, self-contained and transportable DR system designed for general and orthopedic radiography.
