SNM this week introduced its Molecular Imaging Gateway, an exhibit area devoted to evolving technologies and applications in molecular imaging, at its annual meeting in Washington, D.C. “SNM recognizes the expanding role of molecular imaging in 21st century patient care and wants to ensure that the medical community is well prepared to adopt these new advances,” said SNM President Martin P. Sandler. The Molecular Imaging Gateway is giving attendees a chance to learn about different imaging modalities in addition to traditional nuclear medicine. The inaugural Molecular Imaging Gateway aims to demonstrate how technological breakthroughs in molecular imaging can be brought into the clinical environment for broader application in medicine.
