At the recent SIIM 2007 in Providence, R.I., June 7-10, Plasmon showcased the Plasmon UDO Archive Appliance suite of products. The solutions are available from 60 GB (Gigabyte) to 76 TB (Terabyte). UDO WORM is hardware-based and blue-laser technology permanently stores patient data on UDO media designed to meet HIPAA regulations. Each appliance also includes: RAID cache, network-attached storage (NAS) server interface, and integrated software storage and media management.
