Health Imaging News | August 23, 2007 | Contracts & Installations
Healthcare information systems developer Eclipsys said that West Penn Allegheny Health System in Pittsburgh has successfully activated the company’s Sunrise Clinical Manager at its 665-bed Allegheny General Hospital (AGH) and the 59-bed AGH Suburban Campus in Bellevue, Pa. In addition, the facilities have activated Sunrise Clinical Manager's Sunrise Pharmacy and Sunrise Emergency Care systems.

The Boca Raton, Fla.-based Eclipsys reported that Sunrise Clinical Manager, which is remote hosted at the firm’s Technology Solutions Center located in Mountain Lakes, N.J., has already processed more than one million orders. The company said that AGH is close to achieving its goal of having 100 percent of orders placed in the Eclipsys Knowledge-Based Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) system only a few weeks after going live.
