Del Global reports Q1 2008 upturn

Del Global Technologies posted an increase in revenue and income for its fiscal 2008 first quarter (end-Oct. 27).

For the quarter, the company reported that consolidated net sales rose to $26.7 million from $19.3 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2007.
The Franklin Park, Ill.-based Del Global posted a $1.6 million upswing in net income for the first quarter of fiscal 2008 to $1.1 million, from a net loss in the same quarter last year of $500,000.

Del Global Technologies designs, manufactures and markets high performance diagnostic imaging systems for medical applications.
