Radiology IT Strategies: Differentiating Care
Apple, Totoku and OsiriX will demonstrate a multimodality solution for digital mammography and other advanced radiology applications at the European Congress of Radiology 2008.
 
The solution consists of Apple’s Mac Pro 8-Core workstation, upgraded for medical imaging with improved processing, graphics and storage capacity. It also includes two Totoku ME551i2 21.3-inch five megapixel DICOM-calibrated diagnostic displays and the new 64-bit version of OsiriX, an open-source PACS workstation DICOM viewer.
