The purchasing agency of the French administration, l’Union des Groupements d’Achats Publics (UGAP), has selected Barco to provide diagnostic, mammography, clinical review and surgical displays.

UGAP suppliers are selected through public tender, and over the next three years, French public hospitals will be able to purchase Barco medical displays without having to raise a tender themselves. The selection of Barco medical displays was the result of a tender to deliver a medical workstation package, including medical displays, software and hardware that would complement UGAP’s exiting radiology technology.

UGAP is related to both the French Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education, and is charged with evaluation products, selecting suppliers and referencing technologies.
