M*Modal has reached an agreement to expand transcription services to all Johns Hopkins Medicine health facilities.

Currently, the Franklin, Tenn.-based clinical transcription technology company provides transcription services for Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Under the new agreement, those services, including M*Modal’s Natural Language Understanding technology, will expand to other facilities.

Johns Hopkins also will implement M*Modal’s Fluency for Transcription, which manages transcription workloads, under the expanded relationship.
