RSNA: McKesson features updated CVIS
McKesson (Booth 8350) is highlighting its Horizon Cardiology 12.2, a cardiovascular information system (CVIS) that includes integrated hemodynamic monitoring and ECG management at the 2010 Radiological Society of North America conference in Chicago, Nov. 28 to Dec. 3.

The latest version has updates to the current CVIS and ECG management products, as well as within the fractional flow reserve module.

The latest CVIS also updates the revenue management module, which is designed to capture charges at the point of care and enable review of charges and reports for auditing and tracking. Also, the new release adds to the echocardiographic imaging and reporting module with support for fetal, pediatric and congenital patients.

Also featured is an enhanced FFR module, which McKesson said integrates the FFR waveform acquisition into the hemodynamic unit (removing the need for dedicated FFR acquisition devices) and also provides for data capture, lesion, stage, medication and dosage related to the waveform.
