Wide features new display lines
Wide highlighted its line of medical imaging displays, including advanced surgical color displays: 2, 3 and 5 megapixel (MP) PACS displays and a 10 MP work-in-progress display at the 94th RSNA annual meeting in Chicago.

Wide said its surgical series includes the 24-inch SD2400CW and 42-inch SD4200CW. Both models display high definition format resolutions through the source connectivity based on advanced image processing technology.

The company said its PACS suite includes IF2105 MP, IF 2103 MP and IF2002MP display systems. Wide displays feature IQ Sensor moving calibration tool, which measures actual values on the screen for maintaining DICOM compliance so medical professionals are confident when making critical diagnostic decisions. The Power Series delivers LCDs with 12-bit color and grayscale and pixel pitches reaching 0.165 mm for extreme detail. Wide’s multi-redundant Image Quality Assurance System is the advanced calibration system available for instant notification, if an error is detected.

The Power Series’ ergonomic designs make the monitors simple to operate with one-touch controls, including a dedicated DICOM mode selector, subtle blue LED illumination and rotating heads for quick switching between portrait and landscape views.

The company also showed a 10 MP grayscale work in progress that will be geared to digital mammography applications.
