Carestream Molecular Imaging has added to its Kodak X-Sight imaging agent family of products by introducing new large stokes shift dyes for fluorescent in vivo imaging applications.

The introduction was made at the Joint Molecular Imaging Conference this week, sponsored by the Academy of Molecular Imaging and the Society of Molecular Imaging, held in Providence, R.I.

Kodak X-Sight large stokes shift dyes are reactive dyes that enable researchers and scientists to maximize the fluorescent signal while minimizing auto-fluorescence issues, according to the Rochester, N.Y.-based Carestream.
