Florida facility to provide NaF PET/CT bone imaging
Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center’s Imaging Center now is offering sodium fluoride (NaF) PET/CT for bone imaging.

The hospital said its NaF PET/CT scanner offers test results for patients with suspected metastatic bone disease, who can get injected, leave the imaging center for two hours and come back for the exam.

The Imaging Center, located in Ormond Beach, also offers CT scanner with 3D reconstruction software and biopsy capabilities, ultrasound technology for vascular imaging and biopsies and a digital mammography imaging system that can perform stereotactic breast biopsies and needle localizations.
