IsoRay ink distribution deal with GE subsidiary
IsoRay Medical's subsidiary IsoRay has signed on with low-dose rate research and development group Oncura, a subsidiary of GE Healthcare, in the distribution of the I-125 brachytherapy seed, OncoSeed.

Richland, Wash.-based IsoRay produces Cesium-131 brachytherapy seed, which offers a shorter radiation half-life than other isotopes commonly used for brachytherapy, said the company.

Arlington Heights, Ill.-based Oncura said that the brachytherapy seed will be utilized in expanding its Cesium-131 sales.
