Naviscan adds four executive positions
Naviscan PET Systems has announced four senior appointments to enhance its leadership in organ-specific molecular imaging.

Skip Mendelson was named vice president of sales; Ashok Kaul, vice president of marketing; Guillaume Bailliard, vice president of market development; and Christopher Matthews, PhD, vice president of technology. All four of the positions will report directly to Paul J. Mirabella, president and CEO of Naviscan.

The experience of the new executives includes:
  • Mendelson, with more than 20 years experience in sales and marketing of diagnostic medical imaging equipment, served as vice president of sales at R2 Technology, a developer of computer-aided detection software, and at Trex/Lorad Medical Systems, a manufacturer of mammography and breast biopsy equipment.
  • Kaul has more than 22 years of healthcare experience in marketing and product development with Abbott Labs, Medtronic, St. Jude Medical, GE Healthcare and Bacchus Vascular, where he held the position of vice president of marketing.
  • Bailliard has 10 years of healthcare experience. Most recently, he was the x-ray sales manager for the Americas for GE, where he was responsible for a $230M business across multiple product lines in the United States, Canada and Latin America, according to Naviscan.
  • Matthews has 12 years of diagnostic imaging experience, most recently as the project director, leading the development of several generations of PET/CT for Siemens Medical Solutions.
