NeuroLogica nets 510(k) for portable SPECT
NeuroLogica has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its portable SPECT system, the inSPira HD.
The company said the inSPira HD is a battery powered, portable SPECT designed for brain imaging that can provide SPECT images in various settings, including the clinic, ICU, operating room and emergency department.
The Danvers, Mass.-based company said its inSPira HD is capable of imaging radioisotope energies between 80 – 200 keV for clinical applications such as epilepsy, stroke, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer's disease.
