Siemens Medical Solutions Molecular Imaging Division will introduce the new Symbia E series SPECT imager at the 2007 European Association of Nuclear Medicine annual congress held in Copenhagen, Denmark this week.

The Symbia E adds to the Symbia family of SPECT and SPECT/CT imaging systems, and includes a gamma camera, the e.cam. Siemens said it has redesigned the e.cam structure with an improved chassis and improved electronics.
