The Wall Street Journal has selected Fonar as one of two runners-up for The Wall Street Journal Technology Innovation Award for 2007 in the medical devices category. More than contenders were considered for the award.

The award is for the Fonar Upright multi-position MRI, according to the Melville, N.Y.-based MRI developer.
