Cancer treatment provider Oncology Med has signed a multi-year agreement to provide mobile prostate cancer brachytherapy services to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC).

Via the terms of the contract, 11 medical hospitals and 38 affiliate cancer centers in Ohio and Pennsylvania will be included. Pittsburgh-based Oncology Med said that its agreement with UPMC will provide up to 25 percent same market growth in its Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio prostate cancer brachytherapy market.
