Agfa HealthCare (Booth 4800) is highlighting leading solutions in CR for clinics, imaging centers, hospitals and integrated healthcare networks. Solutions on display include, among others, a complete and scalable offering of CR systems and enterprise-wide clinical solutions for multi-site consolidation.

Among the key solutions will be NX, developed specifically to improve imaging department workflow. NX—Agfa’s standard CR workstation for image identification and quality control—comprises a standalone CR/DR workstation and software designed for use at the point-of-care, enabling technologists to remain with their patients. Its touch-screen interface allows techs to complete all standard tasks using the least amount of clicks, thereby minimizing training time, ensuring easy system access and enabling increased flexibility and efficiency, the company says. In addition, the optional installation of NX’s new software program—the Office Viewer—onto their office PC allows the user to access and show patients their exams without leaving the office environment.

Agfa also is featuring its SE software Suite—SE Server, SE Client and SE Standalone. These complements a practice’s digital acquisition system by providing the tools to store, manipulate, manage and digitally output acquired images—for both CR and other modalities. Another highlight is the DX-S CR system, which provides the fastest CR at the lowest dose, particularly for pediatrics and neonatal, according to the company.

Agfa is display its entire range of leading CR solutions including:
  • CR 30-X: a multi-application, desktop, compact CR solution that provides clinicians with an analog-to-digital solution, ideally suited for the smaller x-ray facilities;  
  • CR 35-X: a highly versatile digitizer that is specially designed for decentralized CR environments and has a small footprint.
  • CR 85-X: a multi-purpose digitizer, featuring a unique 10-cassette drop-and-go buffer that eliminates loading times and maximizes productivity. The system is ideally suited for centralized CR environments.
