Claron Technology Appoints Reuven Soraya Vice-President of Sales and Marketing

April 15, 2013, Toronto—Claron Technology has appointed Reuven Soraya Vice-President of Sales and Marketing.  In his new position, Soraya will be responsible for developing global channels for Claron’s complete product line, including the comprehensive Nil family of medical imaging viewers.

Soraya brings to the leading medical image processing company numerous years of experience in technology engineering, product management and sales with a  strong background in medical imaging.  He has broad experience across multiple industries in products involving computer visualization, high performance graphics and image processing.  During his career, he has played a leading role in helping to develop numerous businesses from inception to dominant market position.

Prior to joining Claron, Soraya held positions with ATI Technologies, a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance graphics and visualization technologies,  and AMD, the processor company, in product management, marketing and sales of mobile and high performance graphics.  He started his career at Cedara Software (now Merge), the medical imaging developer, as a hardware engineer and later as a product manager for medical image processing workstations.

Reuven Soraya holds a degree in electrical engineering from Ben Gurion University in Israel as well as an MBA from the National University of Singapore and the University of California-Los Angeles.
