INTEGRIS Health, Inc. Signs Agreement with TeraMedica for its Evercore Vendor Neutral Archive

(April 11, 2013 - MILWAUKEE, WI) TeraMedica, Inc. announced that following the signing of an agreement between the parties on March 7th, 2013, INTEGRIS Health will be implementing TeraMedica's Evercore® Clinical Enterprise Suite in mid-to-late 2013. Initially, INTEGRIS Health will be utilizing TeraMedica’s patented Smartstore™ module for its DICOM management requirements.  As the installation progresses, INTEGRIS Health will also employ Evercore’s Univision module to connect to its Cerner EMR.

The Evercore Smartstore vendor neutral archive module, which intelligently manages the total image lifecycle of all DICOM content, will be deployed across INTEGRIS Health’s Radiology Departments.  This implementation will include all Agfa PACS, GE Centricity PACS, eRAD PACS and Cerner systems throughout INTEGRIS Health’s network of INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center (Oklahoma City), Oklahoma City Hospital: Southwest Medical Center, and Enid Hospital: Bass Baptist Health Center.  Additionally, TeraMedica will provide data migration services from INTEGRIS Health’s Agfa PACS.

“INTEGRIS Health sought out Evercore for its scalability and flexible vendor neutral architecture,” said Jim Prekop, TeraMedica’s President and CEO. “Probably of most importance, our Evercore patient-centered solution allows INTEGRIS Health to retrieve DICOM content from any device and store according to specific policies.”

The Evercore Smartstore vendor neutral archive module integrates and manages patient-centric clinical content in the clinical and research settings across wide geographies, including standard DICOM objects. Evercore also possesses the ability to natively manage and distribute beyond DICOM using global standards such as MPG, JPG, PDF and many other critical clinical content such as treatment plans for cancer care or vital reports in non-standard formats.

TeraMedica’s patented Smartstore™ module intelligently manages the total image lifecycle of DICOM and beyond. The Univision™ module provides a multi-layer, zero-download image viewer, with seamless integration to any EMR/EHR/PHR/RHIO. TeraMedica's vendor-independent platform connects multiple PACS to any storage system, thus ending cumbersome data migration.
