American Fork, Utah, May 29, 2013 – California-based Madera Community Hospital selected Novarad Diagnostic Suite solutions for its Diagnostic Imaging Department. The solutions the hospital installed include: NovaPACS, NovaRIS, NovaDose, NovaMG, NovaMotion and NovaOrtho. The Diagnostic Suite includes more than one dozen products. Facilities are able to customize the right combination of integrated solutions for their needs.

Madera Community Hospital’s staff and services support two affiliated rural health clinics.

In addition to NovaPACS and NovaRIS, the hospital installed:
NovaDose provides direct access to cumulative patient, exam and modality dose history from the PACS database.

NovaMG breast imaging viewer combines the tool set of NovaPACS with customizable mammographic reading and hanging protocol sequences. FDA 510(k) cleared and IHE compliant, it supports multi-modality viewing and iCad and R2 structured reports. NovaMG automatically populates the diagnostic findings to a mammography reporting system and facilitates work list synchronization for recall-report exporting from either the RIS or mammography reporting system.

NovaMotion enables radiologists to archive, retrieve and view live motion studies such as barium swallow, endoscopies and colonoscopies within NovaPACS and EKGs. The solution captures and converts any live motion study into a DICOM standard for export as a DICOM, AVI or JPG file.

NovaOrtho is a complete clinic solution that includes PACS, Admin Console, orthopedic trauma tools and templates, a patient room image distribution system combined with a CR in a single, integrated package.
