AMICAS Inc. yesterday announced the appointment of Paul Merrild as vice president of marketing.  Merrild will lead all marketing efforts for AMICAS.

Prior to joining AMICAS, Merrild was the director of strategic partnerships for the Healthcare Information Technology Division of GE Healthcare, where he was responsible for general management and marketing for large global commercial opportunities. Previously at GE, he held marketing and business operations positions at within the RIS & PACS product segments.
