Ascension Technology will showcase its new 3D Guidance MedSAFE, which are sensors for 3D tracking of catheters, needles and guidewires, at RSNA 2007 held in Chicago later this month.

The Burlington, Vt.-based Ascension said its new tracker supports tracking of sensors as small as 0.27 mm in diameter to accommodate localization of needles, catheters and guidewires.
