ASRT hires Watson as director of governance, affiliate relations
Liana Watson, DM, RT, has joined the staff of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) as its director of governance and affiliate relations.
A registered radiologic technologist, Watson comes to ASRT from the Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Neb., where she served as the director of quality. She started her career in radiologic technology in 1987 as a sonographer and mammographer at Regional West.
At ASRT, Watson will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the governance and affiliate relations department. In addition to ensuring that ASRT governance activities support the association's bylaws, mission, vision and strategic plan, she also will be in charge of ASRT's affiliate outreach efforts.
