Del Global names new president
Del Global Technologies Corp. names Walter F. Schneider as president and CEO to replace Samuel E. Park. Schneider has served as president of Del Medical Systems Group and Villa Sistemi Medicali, S.p.A. since April 2002.
Schneider came to Del Global in 2000 after serving as president of Thermo Electron Co.'s Bennett division, a manufacturer of general purpose radiology equipment. The company also named Suzanne M. Hopgood as chairman of the board, succeeding Gerald M. Czarnecki. Czarnecki has been appointed Chairman of the audit committee in place of Hopgood.
