ECR: TeraRecon updates Aquarius iNtuition
TeraRecon, a provider of advanced visualization and decision support technologies, released updates to its Aquarius iNtuition at the 22nd European Congress of Radiology (ECR), March 4-8 in Vienna.

Thin-client access is supported from the iNtuition client for a radiology power user, to the AquariusWeb client and support for mobile devices, such as iPhone and iPad, according to the San Mateo, Calif.-based company. Aquarius iNtuition can provide access to referring physicians and surgeons who rely on such imaging information and the support of their radiology colleagues to manage therapy and followup for patients.

The new features on display at ECR 2010 included the ability to utilize the iNtuition software on a laptop disconnected from any network, access to the suite of clinical tools through a web browser with SSL security, API-free integration to EMR systems via web services and enhancements to the clinical applications available, TeraRecon said.
