Emageon announces new COO, other changes
Emageon Inc. has announced yesterday that Grady Floyd has been named chief operating officer of the company. It was also announced that Milton Silva-Craig, currently president and COO, will part from the company over the coming months and that Chuck Jett, now chairman and CEO, will also assume the additional title of president as the transition unfolds.

Incoming COO Floyd joins Emageon with twenty years of experience in companies specializing in visual medical imaging. Previously, he was president and CEO of CardioNow Inc., a cardiology image and information system company. His experience also includes serving as president and COO of Cemax-Icon Inc., a pioneer in the PACS industry. Subsequent to Kodak’s acquisition of Cemax-Icon, he served as director of global operations for Kodak’s PACS and RIS division. Most recently, he was co-founder and COO of Vasant LLC, a consulting firm specializing in healthcare technology business development.
