Aurora Imaging Technology named William “Bill” Valters vice president of sales. Valters served as vice president of sales for Hitachi Medical Systems America from 1990 through 2005 with responsibility for hiring, training, and managing a sales team that developed sale and servicing of open MRI systems. Previously, he was a partner and held management positions in sales with Summit Medical and affiliated entities.

CIVCO Medical Solutions appointed Mike Marshall as vice president of engineering where he will head engineering and oversee R&D functions throughout CIVCO’s multi-specialty interventional, radiation oncology, ultrasound, and urology product lines. Marshall will be responsible for coordinating product design efforts and assuring that CIVCO maintains product quality and innovation for the image-guided medical solutions market. Previously, Marshall served as technical director for Celestica.

Del Global Technologies appointed Joseph F. Flies vice president of operations for Del Medical Systems Group. In his new role, Flies assumes responsibility for manufacturing, engineering, and customer support. He reports directly to James A. Risher, Del Global’s CEO. Flies previously served as president of Summit Industries, a leading manufacturer of medical, chiropractic, and veterinary x-ray equipment.
