Executive Announcements: B&D Consulting adds new VPs; IDC gets new CFO
Experts in the field of reimbursement consulting and healthcare records management and compliance are the two most recent additions to B&D Consulting's national Health & Life Sciences Practice.  Kay Moyer and Lourdes Kirby have both been named Assistant Vice Presidents.  Moyer, who comes to the firm from the American College of Radiology (ACR), will be advising medical device and pharmaceutical clients on coding and reimbursement issues. Kirby will assist healthcare providers throughout the country comply with federal and state healthcare regulations, and will provide strategic counsel and guidance to providers who may be under investigation or review.  Kirby has more than 20 years of expertise in the highly specialized field of Health Information Management, with a particular focus on compliance and HIPAA issues.  Before joining B&D, she held a number of senior compliance and records management positions. In addition to her work as an economic and health policy analyst at the ACR, Moyer has also worked as a business manager in private provider practice.


Imaging Dynamics Company has appointed Swapan Kakumanu CGA as chief financial officer. Prior to this appointment, Karim Teja had been acting CFO on an interim basis following his transition from CFO to Chief Operating Officer. Before coming to IDC, Kakumanu served as a controller, corporate secretary and CFO for public and private companies in the information technology and energy services sectors. As CFO, Mr. Kakumanu is overseeing financial controls and the company's ongoing program of process enhancement.
