Hitachi releases new 16-slice CT system
CHICAGO, Nov. 25—Hitachi Medical Systems America today released its new, small-footprint ECLOS16 16-slice CT system at the 93rd annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago.

Hitachi of Tokyo, said its ECLOS16 combines image quality and a range of 16-slice applications with acquisition, siting, and service costs to satisfy the needs of imaging centers and community hospitals for non-cardiac CT scanning while considering constraints put into place by the Deficient Reduction Act of 2005.

The company also said it can provide 3D advanced visualization services from TeraRecon for ECLOS16 capabilities.
