InSight Health Services Holdings has appointed Kip Hallman to the position of president and CEO. Hallman was also elected to InSight’s board of directors.

Richard Nevins, who has been acting as interim CEO since last October, will remain on the board of directors, the Lake Forest, Calif.-based InSight said.

The company said that Hallman has served as both chief strategy officer and interim chief operating officer since October 2007. He joined InSight in August 2005, initially as executive vice president and chief strategy officer.
