IsoRay, a medical isotope company focusing on the treatment of prostate and other malignant diseases, has appointed Dwight Babcock as chairman of the board of directors, and as interim CEO, following the resignation of Roger Girard for personal reasons.

Babcock served as chairman and CEO of Apex Data Systems since 1975. Babcock was formerly president and CEO of Babcock Insurance Corporation.

At the same time, the company reported it has made additional changes to its management team, including, the appointment of Robert R. Kauffman, director, as vice chairman; and Lori Woods, currently vice president/marketing, who will serve as acting chief operating officer.
