Medipattern shows revenue, loss uptick for fiscal 2007

Medipattern, a developer of computer-aided detection (CAD) medical imaging software for cancer detection, showed an increase in net losses as well as an uptick in revenues for its 2007 fiscal year (end-June 30).

Net loss for fiscal 2007 rose 29.3 percent to Canadian $2.6 million ($2.66 million, U.S.) from $2 million ($2.05 million) in the previous year.

Revenues rose to $516,000 ($528,000), an increase compared with the $282,000 ($288,000) in revenues posted in the 2006 fiscal year.
