Medsphere names McMullen as VP of engineering
Medsphere Systems, a provider of open source-based EHR systems and services, has appointed of Scott McMullen as vice president of engineering.
With more than 20 years in software and business development, McMullen formerly held a senior leadership position with Misys, according to the Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based company.
Michael J. Doyle, CEO of Medsphere said that McMullen will help the company, build “the largest collaborative ecosystem in the healthcare industry.”
The addition of McMullen to the Medsphere executive team is the most recent in a sequence of appointments that includes Doyle taking over leadership as CEO and Rick Jung coming onboard as chief marketing officer.
