Researchers in Illinois putting spotlight on MR elastography
The University of Illinois and Carle Health System have begun work on testing MR elastography (MRE) for those with epilepsy and brain tumors.
Researchers hope to determine whether MRI is effective at helping plan surgeries for brain tumors and can serve as an early indicator of epilepsy, according to Champaign-Urbana’s News-Gazette. Read more at the link below:
