Sectra and Synthetic MR have signed a distribution agreement for Synthetic’s software-based technology for MR exam analysis.

In accordance with the agreement, the Linköping, Sweden-based Sectra said it will distribute Synthetic’s software, SyMRI Suite, as a plug-in to its PACS system.

With Synthetic’s software as part of it PACS, Sectra said it will increase not only the efficiency of the actual MR exams, but also the effectiveness of the radiologists for identifying pathological tissue, according to Torbjörn Kronander, president of Sectra’s medical business.
