TeraRecon showcases new advanced viz features at ITEM2008
TeraRecon introduced new features to its advanced visualization platform at the International Technical Exhibition of Medical (ITEM) Imaging 2008 meeting of the Japan Radiological Congress, in Yokohama, Japan, last week.

The improvements include segmentation engines of the head-and-neck region in CT angiography (CTA) examinations, a zero-click “Cath View” to simulate cardiac catheterization images from coronary CTA scans, and multi-volume fusion for visualization and surgical planning

The new features will be supported on the Aquarius iNtuition Client, TeraRecon’s thin-client software which brings applications to the thin-client architecture that were previously only accessible from stand-alone workstations, according to the San Mateo, Calif.-based company.
