Toshiba names senior manager of cardiology CT
Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. (TAMS) recently announced the promotion of Robb Young to a newly created position, senior manager, Market Segment Cardiology CT.  The new position is a reflection of the company's steady growth in the U.S. cardiac CT market, Toshiba said.

Young will leverage his experience and knowledge, including his participation in the launch of the Aquilion CFX Series, in his new position. Young also will manage new product introductions and the future growth of the company's business unit moving forward.

Previously, Young was product manager for the CT business unit where he supported the development of the company's cardiac CT growth strategy, including the expansion of educational activities with key luminary sites.

Before joining Toshiba, Young worked at GE Medical Systems (now GE Healthcare) in Milwaukee and San Francisco. Occupying several positions during his seven-year tenure, Young most recently served as electron beam CT product manager where he lead the development of the newest cardiovascular diagnostic imaging technology, including the creation of several clinical research sites.
