Virtual Radiologic, a teleradiology services company, has appointed Mike Kolar as vice president, general counsel and secretary—a role he assumed Jan. 1, succeeding General Counsel George Frisch, who has retired.

Previously, Kolar had been a partner in the corporate finance group of Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly since 2001. His experience includes public company compliance, corporate governance and corporate finance transactional work, according to the Minneapolis-based Virtual Radiologic. He also served as co-chair of the company’s medical technology industry group.
