Vital Images, Toshiba ink distribution and licensing agreement
CHICAGO, Nov.27—Vital Images has formed an international distribution and licensing agreement with Toshiba Medical Systems to provide advanced visualization and analysis solutions for Toshiba’s newly launched AquilionOne volume CT scanner at the 93rd Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).
The agreement includes, for the first time, a licensing agreement for Vital Images solution for the AquilionOne in Japan, according to the Minnetonka, Minn.-based Vital Images.
“The inclusion of the Japanese market for clinical applications for AquilionOne extends our long-standing partnership to include broader geographical and market penetration,” according to Jay D. Miller, president and CEO for Vital Images.
